I believe it is, and yes, it is. =:^( Thanks for the bug confirmation. The good news is the wrapper-script workaround is solid -- I've not had to worry about the problem since I set that up. The bad news is of course the hassle of the workaround, including remembering to manually update the backup on deliberate config change. Question: Does your use-case involve the rapid konsole closing and re-launching of my use-case that I suspect is triggering the race I believe to be the root of the problem?
