            Bug ID: 365260
Summary: NetworkManager applet doesn't display VPN tun-devices
           Product: plasma-nm
           Version: 5.7.0
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: applet
          Assignee: jgrul...@redhat.com
          Reporter: cry...@googlemail.com
                CC: lu...@kde.org

The NetworkManager applet has stopped displaying the "tun" device (tun0 in my
case) entry when I connect to my VPN using OpenVPN's "systemd@.service". The
Network Monitor Plasma widget still recognizes that tun0 exists and displays
traffic correctly. The device also definitely shows up with correct routing in
"$ ip route".

This seems like a regression since it has worked in earlier Plasma versions and
it allowed me to quickly check if I am connected to my VPN by clicking on the
tray icon.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. # systemctl start enable openvpn@configuration
2. Expand NetworkManager applet

Actual Results:
The "tun" device, as configured in the OpenVPN client configuration, doesn't
show up.

Expected Results:
The "tun" device, as configured in the OpenVPN client configuration, should
show up.

I am running Arch Linux with the latest updates installed, no packages ignored.
