            Bug ID: 435412
Summary: often a webshortcut just shows a spinning "busy" icon
but does not do anything else
           Product: krunner
           Version: 5.21.0
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: webshortcuts
          Assignee: alexander.loh...@gmx.de
          Reporter: kol...@aon.at
                CC: plasma-b...@kde.org
  Target Milestone: ---

Since some recent update when I use krunner (Alt-F2) and type some google
search via "gg:something" hitting enter just shows a spinning busy icon in
krunner but does not start my default browser (firefox) with the google search.
This worked great in the last years so something fundamental must have changed.

The weird thing is that sometimes it works (starting firefox immediately). I
have not found a pattern yet. Note that I usually run a session for a very long
time, just suspending my laptop, so it has nothing to do with a new session.
