I made some more observations:
1) the simulators seem to work fine. I can start them and portscan shows that
indi server is listening on port 7624.
2) I can reproduce the problem on macOS Catalina (10.15.7 - iMac 2017).
3) The same error ("Driver inidi_webcam_ccd: execlp: No such file or
directory") is shown when I try to start the indi server in the shell
