Thanks for your report! This has hopefully been fixed. Can you please update to
the latest version (20.12.3 at the moment, https://kdenlive.org/en/download/)
and report here whether this is still happening?
If you still have problems, please try to delete the config files:
~./config/kdenliverc
~./config/kdenlive-appimagerc
Please tell us how you installed kdenlive (flatpak, appimage, ppa,…)
