            Bug ID: 435134
Summary: Connecting to a configured network with a new wifi
adapter makes plasma ask for password again
           Product: plasma-nm
           Version: 5.21.3
          Platform: Archlinux Packages
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: jgrul...@redhat.com
          Reporter: ircha...@airmail.cc
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
it seems that when you are trying to connect with a different adapter plasma
creates a new configuration file for the network and thus asks for a password
even if it had been entered previously with a different adapter.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. connect a second network adapter.
2. try to connect to a network previously configured.

OBSERVED RESULT
plasma asks for password.

EXPECTED RESULT
it should just connect using existing configuration.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: 5.11.6
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: 5.21.3
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.80.0
Qt Version: 5.15.2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
While I don't think having the option to have different configurations for a
given network per device is bad, I don't think it should be the default
behavior.
