SUMMARY
For several types of money there is some delay between the payment in one
account and the value date of the other. In kmymoney all transfers happen
instantly except if you make two bookings.
Examples for this are:
- bank transfers
- credit card payments (payment date vs. value date on the credit card account)
These differences make it harder to reconcile accounts because the date has to
be wrong on one of the accounts.
My idea to solve this would be to allow splits in a transaction to have
different dates. The money in transfer would be represented by a virtual
account. All splits of a transaction would then transfer money to/from this
virtual account at their set date.
