SUMMARY
The idea here is to integrate with the capabilities of Akonadi for various
features. This comes from having a phone screen break, and not being able to
access the phone, SMS, or backup any of the databases/contents from fdroid
application without screen interaction.
Idea is to plug KDE connect into the akionadi database backend as a provider.
Initially for SMS. Once that is in place, people can create plugins to sync
contacts, calendar, and other PIM information.
Once akoniadi/db backend is available, it will allow others to create plugins
for syncing/backup of phones sqlite3 databases - maybe a plugin for fdroid apps
to allow them to do this, for health data, feed reader data, browser bookmarks
etc.
