(When this is resolved, I suggest reading the user manual on reconciliation, and actually using the reconciliation wizard. I can't be certain, but I think it would have let you discover this problem earler.) To confirm - are you saying that the current balance matches between the bank and the ledger, and that it balances all the way back to 08 Sept, but not before then? I don't understand how you could have gone from the balances not matching prior to that date to them matching after that date.
