Bug ID: 433961 Summary: Falkon doesn't allow to share audio and video on Jitsi Product: Falkon Version: 3.1.0 Platform: Kubuntu Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: major Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: now...@gmail.com Reporter: louicellier...@wanadoo.fr Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY Falkon doesnt't allow to share audio and video with others in a Jitsi meeting (and probably others similar products). The pop-up allowing use of micro and camera pops erraticly (sometimes, nothing appears), and when you select "allow", other participants won't have your audio or video. You will get yours but it won't be shared. In the same time, it's correctly share using Firefox. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open a Jitsi meeting both on falkon and another device 2. When the pop-up menu appears, select "allow" 3. OBSERVED RESULT The camera is indeed activated, as you can see yourself, but it is not shared with other people in the meeting, same for microphone. For other people, you appear to have your camera and microphone deactivated. EXPECTED RESULT The camera and microphone should be activated AND shared sot the other users could see and hear you.
