Thanks. Some more questions for you:
3. If you move your panel elsewhere so that the Kickoff icon is no longer in
the top-left corner, does claws-mail still open if you click in that spot in
the top-left corner?
4. Does the problem go away if you run `killall xembedsniproxy` in a terminal
window?
