Yes, we can open and save transparently our remote files but indeed, they are working like temp files on local storage. The issue is that if I open a remote file with (for example) "Visual Code Studio" or "LibreOffice", restart my system and I try to load them again as usually with "File, Recent files", I CAN'T load that remote files cause the stored path in such applications are pointing to temporal local files (/var/run ....) instead real remote files previously opened.
