Bug ID: 432434 Summary: Fn+Mute stops muting both streams when stream's level is changed while in mute state Product: plasma-pa Version: 5.20.5 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: applet Assignee: now...@gmail.com Reporter: pos...@posteo.eu CC: plasma-b...@kde.org Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 135376 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=135376&action=edit Screen recording SUMMARY I'm not sure if this is a feature or a bug -- however it leads to the situation where I don't hear any sound until I manually unmute the other device. I got two streams / devices: "Speakers (Internal Audio Analog Stereo) and Simultaneous Output (of Internal Analogue Audio Stereo). When the latter is activated in the plasma-pa applet and I press Fn+Mute, both "devices" are muted or unmuted together. This changes once the audio level of the Simultaneous Output is changed (eg via Fn+Audio Volume Up/Down). In this case this specific device only becomes unmuted. Now pressing Fn+Mute _only_ affects this specific device in contrast to its former behaviour. Please see the screen recording.
