            Bug ID: 432261
Summary: Wayland Plasma crash when switching a global theme
           Product: plasmashell
           Version: 5.20.5
          Platform: Fedora RPMs
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Keywords: drkonqi
          Severity: crash
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
                CC: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: 1.0

Application: plasmashell (5.20.5)

Qt Version: 5.15.2
Frameworks Version: 5.78.0
Operating System: Linux 5.10.10-200.fc33.x86_64 x86_64
Windowing system: Wayland
Distribution: Fedora 33 (Thirty Three)

-- Information about the crash:
- What I was doing when the application crashed:
I was switching between global themes from system settings
If I remember right the system was restarted right before the theme change.

- Custom settings of the application:
The theme was applied (to Breeze Dark)
Fresh Fedora Server 33 install with KDE, KDE apps, Firefox. Only the Home
partition encrypted with luks2 using standard partitions (every partition,
selected in the Fedora installer) with ext4 (every partition except the efi
partition).
The only thing that I did on the install before changing the theme was changing
the default Firefox settings and browsing.

The debugger to generate the backtrace was installed after the crash.

After the crash I get a bit of graphic glitches, to be more specific in the
system settings app. A bunch of colors changing from what it's supposed to
black. IIRC it is and was only in the settings tab (where I can navigate
through the "pages" for example to the 'Search', 'Icons' 'Cursors' 'KDE Wallet'
and others), the pages (for example the 'Global Theme' page where my themes are
listed, but happens on all of them) are fine. Restarting the System Settings
app fixes that.
Everything else seems fine.
