Bug ID: 431853 Summary: recent WIN 10 upgrade appears to mess with KDENLIVE interface graphics Product: kdenlive Version: 20.12.1 Platform: unspecified OS: Microsoft Windows Status: REPORTED Severity: major Priority: NOR Component: User Interface Assignee: j...@kdenlive.org Reporter: kden2...@coach.net Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 135020 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=135020&action=edit a snapshot of the entire screen SUMMARY I upgraded to the most recent version 20.12.1 yesterday, all was working fine. After a few hours I got a WIN 10 update. After the system reboot, the KDENLIVE program interface graphics were all oversized and not at all in alignment with the (now unseen) dropdown menus. The dropdowns do still work, although I have to guess where to click to access them STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Was using 20.4.1 2. uninstalled it and installed latest version 20.12.1 3. used it fine for a few hours. 4. Had WIN 10 update and reboot 5. Problem occurred immediately upon boot up. 6. I do observe a ever so slight flickered momentary (very quick)what might be the right size screen, but it quickly goes to oversize immediately afterward. POINTS: I de-installed the new version, cleared out the APP files and reinstalled the old version with the same exact problem. I did this back and forth for both the newer and the older versions with the same graphic results. OBSERVED RESULT - see attached file picture EXPECTED RESULT - a usable interface SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: WIN 10 home macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: ???
