When using the effect it works quite nice and gives a visual queue for the
focus. But screens change brightness in different times of the day and often
the adjustment is manual. The inactive windows would be more distinct if there
was some sort of pattern to the dim mask. E.g. the Qt fill patterns would do.
In that sense I'm hoping that it wouldn't be too hard to implement if the
suggestion is deemed useful.
