            Bug ID: 430192
Summary: Zombie window left after process quit
           Product: kwin
           Version: 5.20.4
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: compositing
          Assignee: kwin-bugs-n...@kde.org
          Reporter: systeminterr...@protonmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
I started "Zoom" (the video conferencing software) on KDE Plasma/Wayland and it
opened up with a window showing the "connecting" message. Normally this window
disappears when it ends up connecting me to the meeting.

However, today this window did not go away at all --even after I shut Zoom
down. There is no PID for Zoom and no window in the KDE panel either. Ksysguard
"kill window" function does not detect it either. Placing other windows over it
does not erase it either which confirms that this is not an "unrefreshed"
region of the screen.

I am not sure the steps to reproduce will be of much help as this just happened
once.
