It used to have for a while, with Kaffeine 1.0.x, I guess... The mplayer
backend code is still there (and the libxine/gst at the logs), but putting
those backends work again is painful.

If someone would write the patches to re-enable mplayer as another backend
option and/or to add support for gst, I may end applying it upstream.
