Hello Manfred. KDE Developers, as other opensource developers have one thing in
common: they are people with limited time, that in majority do not get paid to
work on opensource, and also that prefer to fix something that they can easily
reproduce.
It also means that we fix things that we are affected, and that sometimes a
software will lack a maintainer (or the desire to work of a maintainer will
lower).
Konsole has had more commits in the past 2 years than in the combined 10 years
past - that shows that konsole is good and striving. Who are those developers?
Users of konsole that started to fix bugs for them, and submiting upstream,
like myself.
"Thus I finally gave up on KDE and dbus broken by design." - If you have
technical level, please don't just report bugs, try to help fixing them.
I don't (won't) install another WM just for testing - I don't get paid to work
on konsole and my time is limited, so I work on what I like / want.
Try to get your hands dirty too, helping us to debug what's wrong on VM's -
This way it's easier for the developers and users.
