We have this problem as well.
I don't know why kscreen is saving the monitors configuration state, why does
it need to do this ?
If it needs to for some reason, can't it save it in a separate file to the user
defined configuration ?
It can then use the users configuration if available overriding any other
"automaticially" saved config.
