            Bug ID: 429346
Summary: Rotating and cropping: Concentration of the cropping
frame on the real image area.
           Product: digikam
           Version: 7.1.0
          Platform: Microsoft Windows
                OS: Microsoft Windows
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: ImageEditor-Crop
          Assignee: digikam-bugs-n...@kde.org

Photo series to reproduce the above mentioned hint

For reproduction see the attached photo series

If a photo is not correctly oriented (# 1, twisted), the first step is to
correct the orientation (# 2).
The second step is cropping, which is typically set to "Current aspect ratio"
for me. In order to get the largest possible area, I press "Largest possible
area", but the cropping frame expands to the frame size (# 3). Only a small
part of the frame format can be used, which I then have to adjust manually (#
4).

EXPECTED RESULT: Shouldn't the automatic adjustment of the cropping frame be
limited to the usable image format (# 4)?

Windows 10 PRO, Version 20H2
