I've just tested this on kate from git master by copying the entire first
comment in by drag and drop and I cannot reproduce this issue.
Does this happen for text from all other applications or just MATLAB?
Can you please test and confirm if this issue is still occurring or if this bug
report can be marked as resolved. I'm setting status to "needsinfo" pending
