            Bug ID: 428789
Summary: panel splitting problem in the "Title Clip" window
           Product: kdenlive
           Version: 20.08.2
          Platform: Appimage
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: User Interface
          Assignee: j...@kdenlive.org
          Reporter: pierre.ner...@free.fr
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY

There seem to be a problem when resizing the right panel in the "Title Clip"
edit window. When I try to move the separation between the main panel (picture
+ texts...) and the parameter panel (duration, zoom, rotate, colors...), the
width changes abruptly to very weird positions : either a bit too small, either
full width, either invisible. It seems to depend partially on the size of the
window.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Create or edit a "Title Clip"
2. Move the separator between edit panel and parameter panel

OBSERVED RESULT

The width does not follow the mouse at all. Instead, it jumps to fixed widths,
either the whole window, either a small part, and even not visible at all. It
looks like there is a fight between both panels regarding their width. Is this
because the main panel wants to keep its width at any price, instead of
changing both its height and width according to the aspect ratio?

EXPECTED RESULT

The parameter panel width should be managed smoothly with the mouse. I would
also expect that all the controls can be visible, or in some cases, the font
combobox is not fully displayed (this is why I tried to expand the panel a bit
and discovered the bug).
