SUMMARY
Whenever I click "new" in kdenlive it freezes under wayland. This happens 100%
of the time.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open kdenlive on wayland
2. Click "New" in the top left
3. it freezes (not responding)
OBSERVED RESULT
Freeze
EXPECTED RESULT
Start a new project

There's nothing obviously wrong if I run it via konsole, no output shows the
crash:
