SUMMARY
This bug only occurs on Wayland session.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. use a laptop with touchscreen and without a mouse
2. start Wayland session
3. open system settings > input devices > mouse
OBSERVED RESULT
as we can see in the attached screenshot, Mouse kcm detects the touchscreen
as mouse
EXPECTED RESULT
touchscreen should not be detected as mouse
