SUMMARY
icon-only task manager animation missing on Wayland
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Pin a number of applications to the icon-only taskbar
2. launch the applications from the taskbar
OBSERVED RESULT
the application launch animation is played just fine on X but is completely
missing on Wayland.
EXPECTED RESULT
The animation plays on Wayland
