It works perfectly for me when I first load Plasma (X), but it dies as soon as
I activate an OpenVPN connection. The only connections that show up in the
plasmoid settings are "Wired Connection 1" both before and after activating the
VPN.
Normally, the connection I use is "eth1", and under network manager this is,
indeed, "Wired connection 1".
Running 5.20.0.
