(that is 50%+ on *all* 16 cores of AMD Ryzen 7) STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. disable file indexing service 2. launch kinfo - normal ~0% CPU usage, showing version of KDE 3. switch to File Indexer Monitor = half the CPU used for "nothing" OBSERVED RESULT ~35% CPU is used by process kinfocenter EXPECTED RESULT ~0-1% CPU usage would be expected, when it just reports that the file indexing is not running SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: KDE neon 5.20 (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.20.0 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.75.0 Qt Version: 5.15.0 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION kernel: 5.9.1-050901-generic CPU: 16x AMD Ryzen 7 4800H -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
