For some reason, the layer blending modes are not translated to Japanese with
Krita 4.4.0 anymore, while they are with 4.3.0.
I can confirm with the appimage at least.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Set application language to Japanese (日本語)
2. Restart Krita
OBSERVED RESULT
Layer blending modes like "Normal", "Screen" etc. are in english in the
drop-down menu.
