Bug ID: 425890 Summary: monitor always turns itself back on a few seconds after turning off Product: Powerdevil Version: 5.19.4 Platform: Archlinux Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: tg...@tutanota.com Target Milestone: --- I set my keyboard's sleep key to turn my screen off. This worked fine when I was using Nvidia drivers with my old GTX 960. At some point I replaced it with a Radeon 5600XT with Mesa drivers. Immediately after this change, pressing the sleep key shuts the screen off as usual, but it turns itself back on after 1-10 seconds. I have the same problem if I run `xset dpms force off` from a terminal, or if I wait 10 minutes for the screen to turn off automatically. I booted Kubuntu from a usb drive and the issue still occurs. I also tried Ubuntu and Xubuntu, and the problem does not occur on Gnome or XFCE. --- May be related to #423035, but that specifies using a shortcut. My issue occurs any time the screen turns off. May be related to #348082, although that is old and only mentions the lock screen. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
