Hi, 
sorry for the long wait. I forgot about it.

I uploaded a video, but it's kinda hard to see I guess, because you don't see ,
where and what I click. 

So here is a short desciption of what I did: 
1. Open up the search bar with ctrl + f
2. Type in "Hello"
3. Search for it by pressing enter
4. Click somewhere on the document, so the search bar loses focus (notice the
blue line disappearing)
5. Go to the search bar and select the text. This is the important step to
actually reproduce it I think. 
- Mark by dragging the mouse not double click
- Don't select the search bar before you select the text. Just go with your
mouse on the search bar without clicking and select directly by dragging. 
6. Press the delete key and observe that it scroll on the page instead of
deleting the text 

Compare it with the behaviour of double clicking the text for selection. Doing
it like this, the search bar actually gains focus. With my way, the search bar
doesn't get focus. 

I hope this was clear enough, it's not so easy to describe
