5.0.6 has been released almost exactly a year ago (see
https://kmymoney.org/2019/08/18/kmymoney-5-0-6-released.html) and has been
superseded by three update versions in the meantime.
If those are not available in your distribution, please try to see if using the
AppImage version (KMyMoney 5.1.0) solves the problem. You can download and run
it without uninstalling your current version. See
https://kmymoney.org/appimage.html for details how easy that is.
