[KScreen] [Bug 424394] cant change resolution to fit my screen everything is really large the only way to close the wndow is to hit ESC i even tried Ctrl,Alt,Delete and no task manager

Can you attach a screenshot while the system is in this state, as well as a
photo of how the screen physically looks? Thanks!

Also can you upgrade to a newer version and see if it's fixed? I believe Debian
testing has 5.17.5 now. ...which is still old-ish (we're on 5.19 now), but it's
newer than 5.14.5!
