Here is the solution
The problem :
I use a "replicator" to synchronize my files onto the cloud, namely pCloud.
I left the Skrooge session opened over several days, and for a reason I don't
really understand yet, the hidden files (may be I shouldn't replicate hidden
files, by the way :)) that skrooge works on was conflicted.
The solution :
I copied the most recent hidden file (a move would have done the job too)
cp '.comptes.skg [conflicted 4].wrk' '.comptes.skg.wrk'
and then skrroge was able to close nicely, whithout me loosing the entries I
had made.
