Bug ID: 420209 Summary: Random wallpaper slideshow on lock screen always shows the same image first before then showing a random one Product: plasmashell Version: master Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: k...@davidedmundson.co.uk Reporter: n...@kde.org CC: plasma-b...@kde.org Target Milestone: 1.0 Created attachment 127617 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=127617&action=edit Demonstration of the issue SUMMARY See the attached video. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Set up a randomly-ordered slideshow wallpaper with a folder full of images for your lock screen background 2. Lock the screen OBSERVED RESULT The screen locks and briefly shows one specific image that is always the same for a moment, and then that image transitions to a random image, as expected. The image is not the first alphabetically or creation date, modification date, or any other factory that I can see (it is called Fluorescence.jpg). EXPECTED RESULT The system should immediately choose a random image for the slideshow rather than first showing the very same image and *then* initiating the random slideshow. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Plasma and all other KDE stuff built from source. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
