Photo app (MacOS) added some strange symbol to the end of each folder name while exporting library (windows explorer shows it as "centered dot" in folder name). In folders with such names digiKam can read all formats normally except heic format. I was preparing altenative folder with example files to share with you, and tested it... and everything became ok! digiKam could process the same files in folder with another name.
