I have found no explaination about the purpose of default temporary directory setting in K3b handbook. Nero burning rom on Windows, for example, uses a temporary folder to cache files before and during burning. Is this also the purpose of default temporary directory setting of K3b? If so, I don't think that a folder used to store personal data is a good location to store data that a software uses internally.
