It seem to be a different issue. Paul talks about Clone Layers being able to
show the layer style. This will change the rendering of the .kra format, so it
should be considered very carefully.
Right now the same effect can be achieved by putting all the clones into the
same group and then adding a layer style to this group.
So I will move this bug into a wishlist
