SUMMARY
After upgrading to KDE LTS 5.18, the Discover applet is not visible in the
taskbar. The applet is not visible when tested with multiple user accounts.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. sudo apt purge --autoremove plasma-discover
2. sudo apt install plasma-discover
OBSERVED RESULT
The applet will not appear in the system stray, nor available in the Configure
System Tray option
EXPECTED RESULT
Discover applet should appear and present notifications

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
No metadata file seems to exist for Discover in /usr/share/plasma/plasmoids.
