Or just Qt-based software? I don't have any GTK-based widgets (not sure if it even has some system like QT for that), but as far as I can tell, it doesn't affect any GTK2 nor GTK3 application. OTOH I don't really use any GTK app that would show a pop-up that would allow typing.
