I'm having the same issue, since a few days, on openSUSE tumbleweed. On my pc,
when using wayland, Latte dock doesn't crash but it simply hangs and doesn't
disappear (not even when there's a maximized window) until I left-click on some
other program icon to open it. Then, it goes back to normal operation.
