Krita updates are cools and frequent (which is a good thing).
But updating Krita is a manual process, that could benefit from some
automatism.
See steps to reproduce below.
These features could be cool
- telling the user that there is a new version of krita at krita start via a
popup window or an discrete icon somewhere
- let the user choose if he want to be warn for beta updates or only stable
versions
- having a way to auto-download the new version right from krita
- having a way to automatically launch the new install (so that the user can
choose if he prefer to install the new version somewhere else)
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
- You go to Krita website
- You go to Krita Download
- You download the file
- You extract the zip
- You replace your old version by this one
Actual Results:
Krita get updated.
