When trying to launch krita I get:
krita: Ctritical Error
Essential apllication components
could not be found.
This might be an installation issue.
Try restarting, running
kbuildsycoca4.exe or reinstalling.

First I installed with synaptick package manager.
Then I removed using the same manager and installed as suggested on the krita
website.
linux mint 17.3 Rosa Cinnamon

Steps to Reproduce:
1. install krita on linux mint
2. launch it
Actual Results:
following error:
