Bug ID: 414869 Summary: If I take a screenshot of a "big" active window KWin (KDE's window manager) die Product: Spectacle Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: General Assignee: m...@baloneygeek.com Reporter: frad...@gmail.com CC: k...@david-redondo.de Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 124329 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=124329&action=edit Spectacle settings SUMMARY If I take a screenshot of a "big" active window KWin (KDE's window manager) die so I've to launch kwin_x11 (with ALT+F2). STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open a widow (like a browser) and resize it to make it big (high surface) - I belive that the bug is linked to the screenshot image size (I use a 4K display). 2. Run 'Spectacle' and set flags like show in the picture (capture mode = Active Window, Delay = No Delay, On Cliclick not selected, an Option Include window titlebar and borders) 3. Then (with big window like active window) click on "Take a New Screenshot". OBSERVED RESULT All windows lost decorations and I can restore KWin launching kwin_x11 (with ALT+F2). EXPECTED RESULT The screenshat is captured.
