Bug ID: 414459 Summary: Distinguishing between different Wine applications? Product: lattedock Version: 0.9.4 Platform: Archlinux Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: plasmoid Assignee: mvourla...@gmail.com Reporter: qualimerjud...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY At the moment, all Wine applications are considered under the same application (i.e. Wine), which as a result, means that Latte ends up grouping them together, despite the potential for some of them to be different applications entirely. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Ensure that the 'Group tasks of the same application' option is enabled 2. Launch two different instances of a Wine application 3. They should remain grouped under a single icon OBSERVED RESULT The result is as stated above - all Wine applications are grouped together regardless of actual relation. Latte is behaving as expected of course, since Wine is required for all of them to run. However... EXPECTED RESULT It would be nice if Latte were able to distinguish between different Wine applications, grouping them when necessary (e.g. if two instances of the same EXE were launched, they would be grouped, but a different EXE would be grouped into a new task) - a small QoL change that helps bring in line the behaviour of Wine applications to the norm.
