SUMMARY
There is the possibility to add a comment (note) to an highlighted line. Anyway
there is no way to know if an highlighted line has also a comment without hover
the cursor on it or right clicking it.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Add a comment to an highlighted line
OBSERVED RESULT
There is no way to distinguish highlighted AND commented lines from only
highlighted lines.
EXPECTED RESULT
A note symbol should be added near highlighted AND commented lines.

Linux/KDE Plasma:

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The feature is present on other PDF visualizers such as Adobe Reader.
