            Bug ID: 362890
Summary: Very slow to load folders from NTFS drive
           Product: dolphin
           Version: 15.12.3
          Platform: Fedora RPMs
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: major
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: dolphin-bugs-n...@kde.org
          Reporter: northon_patri...@yahoo.ca

Dolphin is now very slow when browsing NTFS partition. You can see it load sub
folders information one by one very slowly. It will sometimes freeze for
minutes. It is visible when using the folder panel or detailed view.

This is a very recent regression as it was working a few days ago on Fedora 23,
fully updated. I have tested on multiple machines. Other file managers don't
have the problems. It happens whether it is a USB drive or an internal drive.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Browse any NTFS partition, preferably one with a lot of data.

Actual Results:
Sub folders information load very slowly (Size field, icon to expand a folder).

Expected Results:
Load fast like it was before.
