SUMMARY
After latest updates to kde 5.17, when I try and open a program that requires
root access eg Synaptic the rotine to request the root password is not invoked
and the program does not open. If sudo synapitic is run from terminal it opens.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Try to open any program that requires root access.

Program does not open

Program should request root password and then open.
