Selecting a colour from the palette docker and then switching to another image
tab, the brush outline disappears but the cursor remains. The brush paints
normally and the brush outline reappears after one click or a brush stroke on
or off the canvas.
I don't see any outline or cursor change when using the Ctrl selector.
(Using Debian 10 with MATE.)
