Unless you've a Lisp keyboard, "Meta" *is* the "super" key (ie. if you've a
typical Windows keyboard, the "windows" key) ...
The problem with the key is the conflicting mouse usage - even Alt (the defacto
standard predating the widespread re-availability of the meta key) kills some
Gimp features, Ctrl would be far worse.

We could probably have distinct Meta/Hyper/Super but be aware that that isn't
stock-supported by any conumer keyboard (you'd have to re-map keys)

An alternative might be to ignore the bmod key along the global shortcuts
window rule (if that isn't the case anyway, don't know at hand)
